Sounds like it's been controlled but I've read a report in which the fire brigade seem worried about the peat burning under the ground.

Seems to be a spate of them, round here (W.Mids) I keep finding bit of wood with burnt (undergrowth) sections (Summerhill woods/million woods) that I've never seen in 8 years of riding the area.

South wales large fires, and the north of england alos around Bala, and part of conway mountain yesterday had been burnt.
