So one of my riding buddies wiped out and won a 2 day hospital pass with 2 busted ribs, clavicle and shoulder blade, now my good lady is interested in kitting me out in body armour!
Anyone own a forcefield x-v shirt?
How hot is it for when riding mainly interested in XC
Is it a total PITA to wash?
Have you crashed in it, did it do it’s job?
What others should I consider?

I use mine for dh or occasionally freestyle snowboarding.
in all honesty you will cook using it for xc unless it's really cold.
Washing is easy and the armour really works well.
But as said you will cook
Have a look at the G Form stuff
Is the g form stuff any less hot?

Kind of thinking I’ll cook in them all, at least as I mostly ride st night it’s a bit cooler
I believe its the shirt. Full sleeves though.
very comfy, especially once it moulds to your body shape.
