How do the French refer to the Welsh i.e. the ones that play in red in the 6 nations rugby as no-one I have spoken to in France other than in Bretagne knows what "gallois" means other than competition to "Gitane".

Tell them it's like Corsica but not an island, and it gets its ownb national rugby side. Just a thought: were you pronouncing the last 's'?

Welsh: "Gal-wa".
(both with a 'hard' G like 'get' not 'gent'.)
