One of the bearings in the swinging arm broke and made the hole a bit bigger, done a bit of a bodge but fancy something anyhow so what ?
Need to run a water bottle as I am a sweaty mess so no backpack so the Orange is out, shame as only two bearings to change seems a boon, on a 6 month cycle with the Whyte.

Dunno how much cash you have to splash, but Transition Smuggler seems the obvious suggestion.

How much bigger are we talking here? Bearing Retainer bigger, or bore it out and shim it (or use a bigger bearing) bigger? Frame's not necessarily dead yet

Legend has it.
Bearing retainer compound?
Plastic metal stuff & re-bore?

yeah could have a look , odd size bearings wider inner than outer race and .5mm smaller id than normal 6900 bearing

Have a Trance29 in shed if I slackset that making the 69.5 head angle a more friendly 67.5 and the 140mm pikes would be a bit more.

Unless you really want a new frame, why not stay in touch with Grant/Warranty @ ATB and see if you can get the spares...

Edit: extra 20mm of travel and slacken the HT by two degrees on Giant? I guess you have a natural ability to kill your frames ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

There's some nice options around to replace though if that's what you want to do. I'd be looking at a Process 111, Banshee Phantom, Transition Smuggler, Orange Segment (I know you said no but it's good), Cotic Flaremax and Pyga oneten.

Rode the trance in the alps with 140 forks and it survived didn't really think slackening the head would add much more stress. ๐Ÿ˜€
Will have a look at those Mr Hoppy cheers

I went from T129 to T130, and couldn't be happier.
The T129 was a great bike and felt perfect, but I fancied a change and more travel. I tested various bikes but as soon as I rode the T130, I knew it was perfect. It's the same familiar feeling of the T129, but more travel, more nimble and more fun. I've not noticed any considerable speed loss on the XC rides, but it's so much more confident descending, and rough climbs are also easier to attack.

No room for a bottle cage in frame on Process 111.

You'd have to drop the bottle cage requirement

So on closer inspection : I took number of bearing 6900llumax and went to bearing man and got replacement or a close one. This bearing was lose on shaft and in the swinging arm. Had uplift day booked at 417 so popped it in with a bit of bearing fix and off I went. Stripped it down today popped both bearings out and noticed a number on outer race KP6A which turns out to be a imperial sized bearing. 3/8 x 7/8 x 5/16 so thats why it was a bit lose !!!!.
So be careful those cheeky guys at Enduro sometime like to trick us by mixing bearings, seals and numbers up.
New bearings ordered from Betd, just hope I have not made a mess of it on the uplift day.
Thanks for suggestions , will keep a not for when I have next issue.
Cheers Blast
