Hi,
Heading to the FOD with Bro in Law for a bit of riding all day Saturday and Sunday morning. I don't think the Verderers trail, older/exisiting red trail and a mince around on the DH trails will keep us entertained for all of the time.
Can anyone recommend or give me a pointer to any of the 'natural'/non trail centre trails in the FOD?
Thanks
Justin
You may want to reschedule / change your plans a little as i believe the 661 DH is on...check out www.thefod.co.uk for details

Bugger - but I imagine all trails will be open on Saturday, may just be a little busy..
Too late to reschedule now anyway!
Could potentially head to Cwmcarn on the Sunday? Is probably around an hour and a half drive (I'd chech this!) but worth it in my opinion.
Cardiff - yes was thinking that. Would be a good and varied weekend of riding then!
should take just under an hour from FoD to Cwmcarn. Will also be packed there on Sunday though unless you go early.
Julioflo, yes it will be very very busy at the centre both days due to the MiniDownhill. Parking will be the main issue. The event is using the ski run track however the other 8 marked DH tracks will be open, also the verderers and freeminer XC trails are open.
In terms of natural singletrack, its best to explore as none is markerd, but theres plenty on offer around the sallowvallets and cannop area.
Cheers
Ant.
Thanks Ant. Think we can ride into the centre from B&B anyway, so that solves that.
Hit the Malverns, dude!!! Its about 50min from FOD and there's heaps of sweet riding there, just park in the town and head for the beacon and follow your nose from there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
