I have some forks that have no foam rings under the seals. Anyone got some old ones lying around? 35mm or close.

Anyone who can help will be compensated. Well not anyone - just the first person.

Do you know for sure that they need foam rings? Only saying as I have some Marzocchi 55 bombers which when I serviced them I noticed they didn't have any. I presumed the previous owner didn't put them back in so rang the distributor to order some. I was told by the service guys that even though the lowers had the cut out, they never had foam rings fitted.

What forks are they?

66s.

They have never had them - but I'm thinking of putting them in as a mod. There's some suggestion it might help the annoying stiction that they've always had.

You'll get them on ebay for a few quid.

Only in packs of 20 last time I looked...!

I threw some out recently doing a fork service for a different fork. That was before I had this idea.

Sometimes sellers sell them in pairs or individually so its worth looking.

I did! 🙂

Yeah I saw lot sof seal kits but it seems a waste to buy the whole seal kit.

Mind you, gotta wonder if they'd fit the 66s despite being Rockshox - might be an upgrade...

Just pack the space between the seals with suspension grease.

Argh! In my excitement I missed your post, sorry!

@tinas already did that, it helped but still annoying.
