I've bought some and fitted them, nice and vibration absorbing which is good with my sore wrist, but how to you stop them moving arround? They don't slip like cheep rubber grips 'throttle' but they do creep inboard over a ride, sometimes ending up against the brake levers with 2" of bar sticking out the end!

Should I glue them to the bars? If so what glue?

Hair spray works for some; i find it to be temporary. Carpet glue works very, very well but don't expect the grips to come off with anything other than a Stanley (or similiar).

I've used vulcanising solution (Tip top is good) in the past with good results.
Thanx Max

Anytime they get wet, they slide about.

Same problem here, is there such a thing as lock-on foam grips?

Surely lock on foam grips kind of lose their weight advantage?

Those Ritchey ones are 110g, the Token ones on CRC are only 10g more.

I'll try rubber solution, I was thinking superglue as its non solvent and dissolves in acetone afterwards (dont be tempted with carbon bars!) that or arrldite, but that seems OTT!

The solution is to not buy foam grips. I've been using ESI silicone grips on my full suss for just over a year and they are fantistic.

More expensive but they don't move, stay grippy when wet, light weight, vibration dampening and available in a variety of colours.

I think they are great and will be replacing them with the same when they're knackered.

I use the Ritchey WCS ones, don't seem to have a problem with slippage - dunno why. They are mounted on carbon tho.
