being a man
Buff over the sort of top half of my ears.
I think I must run hot though as I honestly can't imagine wearing things like the Windstopper skullcaps etc. you can get without my head melting.
Buff for just chilly weather, Ear Bags for proper cold (worn with a pisspot, so the rest of the head is taken care of).
lol @ ear bags they look ridiculous.
OP I wear my hoody backwards and use the hood.
cant imagine wantingto ride with anything more than a buff for most of winter
and on the -20 with windchill days i have a gore balaclava that screams " heres johnny"
I used to wear a gore skull cap that came over my ears but to be honest its seldom that cold that my ears get cold enough to bother me. If its around 0 degrees I usually wear a buff and just pull that over my face and ears if I start to get a bit chilly.
Buff with my cap over the top holding it in place.
Merino Buff for Autumn/Winter time when it's dry.
Sealskinz Belgian cap when it's cold, windy and wet.
Normal cycling cap on head, Buff round neck pulled up over chin and ears.
For my commutes I wear a normal Halo headband for average conditions, and the version that covers my ears when it gets colder. It just stops the windchill.
For buff wearers - do you wear it like a beanie, round your neck and pull it up, or like a headband?
, round your neck and pull it up
