OK, did a boo boo. Bid and won on a pro5 rear wheel, but thanks to me not looking carefully enough i missed the info that it was a 27.5 and not a 29er

My bike is 29er and has a flip chip. Its an Emtb. I can run 29,27.5 or a mullet.

Can I just fit this without changing the flip chip thing from 29 to 27.5 without any problems ?
I got it pretty much as new for £190, as opposed to the £310, so a fair old bargain really, just my stupidity really has put the happy mood on a downer.

I'd say possibly more pedal strikes.

I dont offroad. Im an urban cyclist. Health s really poor and thats the reason i've the ebike. So its just for shopping(rack/pannier fitted) and pottering about the city. I doubt I'll be ever well enough to take on any serious off road adventures.
It was just if it was going to affect anything motor settings wise.

The motor will cut out at about 14.7mph rather than 15.5mph, unless you can reprogram it for a different wheel diameter.

Yes your cutout speed will now be wrong.

No probs, in fact I don't think I would notice it really.

Least I know.

You should be able to tell the app/management system that you're running a 27.5 wheel. I'd flip the chip to high.

A wheel size change can't be done on the app on a Spech.
Has to be done by a dealer.
