Sold my 12 yr old Kona Lava Dome on fleabay for £250 - a good price, especially as I sold the Project 2 forks (that I was giving away with the bike originally) on Retrobike for £45 posted.

However, the buyer lives in Copenhagen, has zero feedback and has given me a different postal address to his listed ebay one. He seems genuine enough and has mentioned a couple of things to suggest he may be interested in bikes.

He hasn't paid yet, as we have to agree postage. I gave him a £30 discount to £220 due to a dinked front rim and he has agreed to go to £280 to partially cover the £95 postage costs - I originally misquoted the shipping to Europe by foolishly getting a quote on weight alone and not the size/volume of the package.

Anyhow - should I MTFU and just send him the bloody bike, or should I err on the side of caution and my slightly paranoid nature and re-list it?

Wait for payment and then ship it. Done.

It will be paid for via Paypal - great you'd think. Not so - I've heard they are quick to give buyers 'claim backs' and if a stolen account is used the seller is liable.
