Straitlines & Five Tens.

Or, any flat pedal & a pair of Five Tens.

Stick to your pedals like sh*t to a blanket.

That would do ^^^ But in my case it's Superstar Nanos* and 5-10 stealths (like your gym shoes when you were at school). If I'm likely to be doing a bit of pushing the bike through heather / bogs / up hills, I'll wear Salomon goretex trainers. There's a bit more squirming, but they do the job.

Wellgo MG1's and Fiveten impacts. I've got the Sam Hill ones which are really comfortable and have removable soles so you can wash them. Saw them reduced from£90 to £65 somewhere the other day too.

Run MG1's /fiveten's for years. Great combination. Just got some DMR vaults, very nice with the 5:10's.

V8/12s and skate or bmx shoes. Currently using Orchid Cobra low shoes and they're awesome.

Vans and V8's for longevity.

I'm rather liking my dmr vault pedals and 5:10 impacts right now. Pedals feel more gripy than the nanotech I had before. The shoes are a PITA when they get wet though. Still grip but hold water like you wouldn't believe.
