I've been running a specialized flat bar that I got on a stumpjumper HT a few years back. It feels really harsh, I don't like it at all. Anyone recommend a decent flat bar or do they all feel pretty much the same?

I'm using a Truvative Team carbon, a lovely comfortable bar, good value as well.

New Ultimate carbon, bar end compatible, 600mm, nice sweep, 110g, £100.

If you don't want to run bar ends you can't go wrong with an Easton EC70 (I don't care if they say they're bar end compatible, at least 90% of the ones I've seen with bar ends have cracked, irrespective of the clamp style used too).

Any of the carbon models, though I run 25.4 aluminium ones and they are flexible compared to OS flats.

I like bar ends. If I can't put them on bars I'd just go for a riser over a flat bar.

Yes Ritchey do some with 10 degree sweep (if not more). The WCS Carbon are nice, properly reinforced for bar ends too.
