I've got a crack in the sole of one of my Five Tens. There in really good nick so I think I'm going to try and glue the crack back up, it looks like it’s from the pins of my pedals, it’s not really an issue but will be when it gets wet again. Any ideas on what type of glue I need that won’t bugger up the rubber?
Shoe Goo.
It's worked on more than one pair of mine.
APF
Wilkinsons own brand shoe repair glue, the toes were peeling away on mine, I repaired them years ago and they have been fine ever since. Wrap loads of elasticbands round the shoe to ensure there is a really good contact area.
Cheers! Didn't realise there was shoe specific glue. Just been to Wilkinson’s as well.
Adidas refunded my 18 month old VXI's as the rubber was coming off the sole. Had 18 months riding and now have a new pair of Impact Pros 🙂 for free
or go to a cobblers - fixed both shoes/soles for £3 here!
Cobblers. Shoe goo sets too hard, doesn't like flexing and then fails.
Reckon a bit of glue can fix these? 😀
