Hi there,
I have a Trek/GF Paragon 29er with a Bontrager Race, 27.2mm, 5mm offset seatpost.
It had a clamp on it but I wanted to swap it for a QR one.
The clamp it had on it says 32 and fits fine.
The QR one I bought says 33 and doesn't seem to fit - too small. Am I missing something here?
It seems to me that the clamp is too small to get on and even if it is the
right size I cannot seem to fit it.
Do I need a size up or do I need to grease it or some other magic wand trick?
