Hi all
Just got back from my hols and had an Atera Strada DL3 and towbar waiting for me. Never really worked on a car before but got stuck in taking off the bumper and removing the metal bump bar thing from my 2004 Focus. All was going well until I needed to remove the exhaust heat shield. I couldn't get the fore rubber thing off to drop the exhaust as I don't have a ramp to work under the car and it seems near impossible to do with one hand. Is there a (safe) way of jacking up the car to get access? Or would it be possible to cut away the heat shield and then re-bolt it back on once the towbar has been attached? I'd really love to get it sorted today as I'm off work. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks!
