[#1001622]

i am fitting an Alfine to my DB Alpine and have a query on the non-turn washer to use to get it lined up. My alfine fitting kit only came with white/silver/green and blue non-turn washers but these dont seem to work- as the cassette joint is not exactly parrallel - does this matter?

Do i just put up with it slightly out or get different washers to try?

Does anyone know the name of the guy on here that has an alfine on his Alpine?

How "out" is it?

instead of being level it is angled down at about 30-40 degrees and am just concerned it may catch/bang into a tree stump/branches etc

yes tried all combinations on various sides and no joy.

Reading the Alfine instructions it says i require a black and grey washer but can find anywhere that has them.

Try looking for Nexus fitting kits.

found the washers on an online bike shop so hopefully should do the trick.

Ash from trailAddiction.com is the guy who runs an Alfine on his Alpine, though his is a one-off Phil Wood EBB'd Alpine.
