Fitting 12spd XT shifters to Hope X2 race brake levers

Hi everyone! I'm thinking of transferring my favourite Hope X2's to my Oiz.

My Oiz currently has Deore 12spd direct mount (I think!) levers on the Deore brake levers, but I want to be able to fit my Hope's and then upgrade the shifter to 12spd XT. Will these fit directly to the X2's, or would the only way to get them to work is to use a separate bracket for the shifter?

If not I'll probably wait and save up for Hope Tech 4's, although no idea if you would also need an adaptor for these as well!
