snowboarding, wondering where to go or just go chamonix as ever?

love it there, i learned 2 years ago to snowboard there too
learnt there in 2002. stayed in a wicked little apartment 50yds from Brevent lift, the home run finished pretty much in the garden.
tried to find it again to rent but must be in private ownership now.
yeah we always stay in town in the summer too
Book with my mate's place. Yet more lifts going in over the winter at Jasna (they put a ton in last winter too).
Loads of off piste, chalet is 5 mins from the town with a ton of night life, thermal spas, ice jockey and indoor go karting. Cheap as hell too. If you email him, he'll tell you how awesome it is. He's got a supply of bikes too if you fancy a bit of snow riding in the valleys.

accommodation is basic but right in the town centre.
The tuition is superb and they do off-piste introduction courses for very little extra. Made a huge difference to my boarding going from self taught surfer surviving to doing thing properly...
