Hi,
Currently ride a rigid geared 29er and also a 26 Rev 456, wanted to get in to SS so bought a second hand Genesis io (26er) off of here, now not ridden it yet (brakes issue) but am thinking I should have gone 29er SS

What are the + and - for each wheel size as a newbie who loves the geared 29er after many 26er's ? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Opinions welcome
Thanks ๐Ÿ™„

Surely, surely, surely, if you can't decide, 69 is the answer. To soooo many questions.

26, because 29 is just a fad, like gears.

If you perfer a geared 29er, I would have thought that you would prefer a ss 29er. The same features apply - just adjust the gearing 32:18 rather than 32:16.

But, the Genesis iO is a cracking bike, and before selling it for a 29er, I'd bung in the front wheel off your geared 29er and see what you make of it (assuming you have the one with the rigid fork that'll take it of course).
