Morning Folks,

A couple of weeks ago I finished my current build - A Cotic Soul 2010.

Seemingly not a very conventional build with 100mm stem & 115mm fork - but it works for me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Apart from a few pootles around the block I had not had a chance to ride the bike properly......until Sunday ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Summer tyres fitted, quick once over then off.

I have ridden a load of hardtails over the years built from a range of materials. I have always had a penchant for steel even over Ti.

Well after 15 minutes of being out on the Soul I am well impressed. It was as though I was riding a short travel full sus in the rough and a carbon HT when climbing ๐Ÿ˜ฏ amazing stuff.

After an hour and a bit i had to stop as I had ridden harder in that hour than I had on any ride in the last few years.

Credit where credit is due - Cotic seem to have gotten it spot on, well for me anyway!

A big thank you must also go to the lads at Cycle World who put together an awesome package of parts for me - Cheers Chris & Joe ๐Ÿ™‚

Looking forward more than ever to the next ride now.......

Bike as she was prior to summer tyres and platform pedals being fitted.

What size is that front tyre? It looks enormous. Oh, nice looking bike by the way. Liking the orange.
