And only about the second in a year. And I can't remember last time I rode over 4 hours!
A lovely warm day, went out with the family to Sirhowy Valley park then they went home and I rode over to the new trail at Cwmcarn before riding home to Cardiff.
Brilliant.. spent basically all day on the bike, felt really strong, bike was ace*, trails were dry.. still buzzing 🙂
* Maxxis Ignitors are brilliant.. I'm running them tubeless and they have thick sidewalls which give loads of support so I could run them at 25 psi and get loads of comfort and grip.
I commuted to work last week, which was my first ride since November (and not much riding before that oweing to the previous broken arm in June), 4 days of ~6miles each way on bridleways and farm tracks. Dam near killed me!
It was nice getting to Friday having settled into a nice pace that'll hopefully pick up over the next few months.
