Completed our first 10m TT last night on tandem. Always wanted to give it a go but never had the nerve. As Mrs DD stoker and we crossed the line in around 26:30. Considering was a tad windy and we fluffed the start (didn't fancy the one marshall holding up a weighty tandem) recon with a bit of effort I'd like to think we'd go sub 25min towards the end of the season. The look on what I think was my minute man on a full TT bike with aero wheels and helmet was a picture as Mrs DD gave him a "nice evening" as we sailed by. The bug has bitten!
I fancy getting a tandem for me and the Mrs in a few years, never thought about doing some racing mind.
Top marks. Sub 25mins would be a great time even for 2 people, you both must be working well together.
Good time for a first event I'd say.
