Changed my brakes a while back and swapped to 1 finger braking..
The downside is since then I am getting terrible finger cramp in the middle 3 fingers...
Anyone know how to stop it?
I used to get that really badly, to the point where I had to stop and rest my hands on long downhills.
I got one of [url= http://www.motogriptrainer.com/ ]these[/url] (green, easiest, but then I'm pretty skinny, if you're burly you might need one of the harder ones). You can probably use a tennis ball or one of those gadgets climbers use instead, but I find this thing is comfy and does the job. If I do about 90-100 squeezes maybe three or four times a week it keeps the cramp at bay very effectively, and it stops you getting arm pump too. If I stop using it regularly the cramp comes back, so you do have to keep at it.
Don't hold the bars so hard. Easier said than done, but once you've got a decent position and can relax knowing one finger will brake you well enough you'll probably find it just goes away.
