I have finally converted my Roadrat from a geared bike to an SS, went for a 48/18 ratio as i had a 48 tooth on the cranks I had so to save cash just kept that on. I have got some nice climbs on my way home in Edinburgh, which include the mound, along past kings buildings and up kirk Brae so its a hard slog but loving it.
That picture reminds me that I really need a cheap inline post for mine.
isnt that the point of a Roadrat? cheap ?
Yes. No sarcasm intended in my post. I really do need a cheap inline 27.2mm post for mine!
I have a ten year old (maybe more) cut down Ritchey/Kalloy post in at the moment, and it has loads of layback that I don't need and looks odd with the saddle pushed right forward.
ah ok, sorry I am just use to the usual sarcastic posts on here.
