I drained the brake fluid completely from my system whilst I went about fitting new hoses to them. All connected back up now, so do I basically just do a bleed on them to fill them up completely? Or is it a different process to bleeding an already setup system? Brakes are Formula Biancos (same as Oro's etc).
cheers
I changed the pistons in my avids not long ago.
Basically I just followed the bleeding procedure but they were not quite right.
So I did it again and they were back to their best after that.
Fill them up until all air gone out of the system. Syringe needed, formula use two.

I'd imagine the easiest way would be to get a large syringe of brake fluid and slowly inject it into the caliper bleed nipple, with the reservoir on the lever open, and just stop when the reservoir fills up.
You can then bleed them as normal, or I would imagine that they would be pretty much spot on just from doing that as it should purge the air as the system fills up with fluid.
cheers for the advice chaps, shall be undertaking this exercise this evening, fingers crossed it goes smoothly ๐

Depends on the calliper and lever design, some can be done that way, others have to be bled form the master cyclinder down.
