Trainers with, looks like Spds, on the bike. He musta nicked it!

I'll have to send them a video of my commute - stopping to take photos of all the holes, I'd be there all day.

I always thought they were anti compulsion but not pro helmet. Pro choice maybe. It's better to encourage more people on to the road with normal attire.

I'm more concerned that he bike looks too small for him.

Maybe he's after the drain cover too...

I'm having a hard time to be bothered by anything in that photo. It's only anorak type stuff thats wrong. Even trainers + spds aren't a major crime (unlike spds + 6" heels I've seen on other promotional pics)

Round here there are few roads where the drain covers run at 90 degreees tot hat one, far more dangerous than the potholes!

If it's anything like the reports I've made, it cold fills the hole so the hole can come back 2-3 weeks later

Lol @ Foxyrider's edit!

Like the Stephen King quote on the last one too.

Slightly odd, considering it's obviously Spesh sponsored some shoes and a helmet would offer some very blatant advertising, rather than giving Nike the advert.

At a quick glance, it looks like he's taking a Stanley knife to the tyre.

EDIT: They probably changed the knife to the iphone. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Goodness. I am 80% through building my first bike and even my first thought was "he didn't ride that bike there, unless he changed shoes to take the photo".

Oh and also "ooh, carbon - that will be just as busted as his head if he meets a car unpleasantly".

"ooh, carbon - that will be just as busted as his head if he meets a car unpleasantly".

Unlike an alu/steel/ti bike, which are all well known to shrug off impacts with cars. And the rest of his body which would also be perfectly fine when hit by a car if only he was wearing a helmet.

The irony of course being that that's actually an alu frame.

I was just making a crunch comparison between carbon and bone, which both deform and then "crack" with a sickening noise if you snap them.

Tearing metal sounds far less bone-like ๐Ÿ˜€
