Got one recently and haven't noticed any rattling - certainly no excess over the 590ml I've got. The new way the bracket attaches to the bottle also seems to be a lot tighter / more secure.

I find my 590ml rattles on rough descents; enough that the bottle makes occasional contact with the frame. Unless that new mounting point (bottle bracket) is significantly improved, then I'd imagine the 800ml would be extremely annoying.

PS- a great system apart from the flex!

If it's the half of the mount that is attached to the bottle that is flexing, running a zip-tie through the mount and round the bottle improves things.

@frogstomp when you say excess over the 590ml does that mean that one rattles? if its going to rattle, ill just stick with a normal one as its silent - i expect going over roots and chattery stuff its going to rattle/wobble side to side especially the more water in

@oscillatewildly on the 590 I have the mount part attached to the bottle went a bit baggy (presumably the bottle plastic stretched a bit with the weight of the water). They then changed the design to include a strap around the bottle and the 800ml has (I think) an even wider strap.

ah right yep i see what you mean - the new 800mm has a new designed strap on - i expect thats exatly where they rattle from the bottle to the bit that attaches to the bottle, hopefully the new design means its cant physically do that now
