Shimano's newer external BBs are a smaller size and use a different tool to their older ones?

If you are taking a knacked one out, use an oil filter wrench, big mole grips or similar brutal toolage. New one will, (unless you get a Billy bargain OEM one possibly)Â with the adaptor as noted above.
Yes they are smaller - and this means due to the wonder of Marin's specifying department I now need one size BB tool for BB, other BB tool size for front rotor and old BB/internal for rear rotor...!
