you;re going to put 4m of tinsel round your 456 and your dangly bits? Mightn't it tear if you crash?

Was thinking about starting a 'What tinsel for a festive pootle' thread..

I've got a santa hat, and a metre of poundland's finest tinsel, just need to figure out how to attach the santa hat to my helmet (will boil if i wear it under my helmet) and the tinsel to the bike!

Are there any low hanging branches to get my enormous Christmas antlers caught on? If so, I may need a re-think of my outfit. Hmmmmmmm maybe......

[img] [/img]

Binners, if your Blonde mate is riding along with you, I'll be right behind you ๐Ÿ˜›

I think 4m of tinsel might be a bit ambitious, the extra drag co-efficient will slow me down too much me-thinks 8) leaves more room for me dangly bits and bobs though ๐Ÿ˜†
Sambob, you want a lift? 9 o clock by the chippy ?

Please, that'd be much appreciated. I'll let you know what the snow's like, might be too much to get over the tops, should be alright by Sunday though.

IF I manage to get away from work by 1.00 am instead of 3.00 am on Saturday morning ( and as it's mad Friday - that's a very big IF), I'll be there! ๐Ÿ˜•

Oooh, I can make this one I think, hooray! Assuming I don't get stuck in snow half a mile from my house like last time, that is.

I wonder if the missus will notice if I nick some jingly baubles off the tree...

Positively voluble there, bwd!

Tim, got it ta and have replied - but in case anyone else is wavering and has the same concerns about distance given issues with injury / illness / fitness / crapness:

Itโ€™s a pootle which means the pace will be very sociable and inclusive. Iโ€™ve a rough route in mind which includes plenty of places where a tired rider can duck out - there are a couple of loops which once we start we might as well finish, but weโ€™re only talking a mile or two round each of the loops. In the right conditions (warm and dry!) a fit rider could sprint round the loop in a couple of hours, I reckon weโ€™ll be out for about 4 to 5 hours allowing for a slower pace and a few stops to regroup.

Have we got snow over there yet chaps? I don't mind. I bloody love riding in the snow. Its a right old laugh. And it doesn't hurt when you fall off ๐Ÿ˜€

A change of tyres may be in order though. Hmmmmmmm BadlyWiredDog seems to have the right idea.

Bregante - I'm shuddering at the thought of Mad Friday in Salford. We can provide on the move counseling for your post-traumatic stress ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Oh have you come out now Binners? After all those incidents at Jackson's boat we kind of knew anyway, but it's nice you;ve had the courage. It doesn;t change anything, we'll still ride with you and rip the piss out of you
