What other hobbies can I do
If I thought you wouldn't edit the thread title, I could make a few suggestions...
Weight training . fills my gaps in my riding very well.
Sewing.

True.
Fix tubulars, make frame bags, very useful skill. ๐
And if you use a treadle machine it keeps you fit for the inevitable return to cycling.
But the real answer is ditch the derailleur and go singlespeed. ๐
Where do you live?

I'll trade, you go to work for me, and i'll take care of your cycling.
What kind of cycling are you fed up of? There's tonnes of forms of cycling. Try a different type of two wheel adventure.
Could always just post on Internet forums about cycling rather than doing any actual riding. Great hobby!
Brewing beer, knitting, coke and hookers, kite flying, taxidermy, photography, cake baking, become a porn actor.
I like the idea of riding more than actually riding at this time of year, and in general I'd say I spend 5 times longer on here and looking at new bikes than actually riding the ones I have. I bought a turbo, used it once, returned it, borefest.
When I actually get motivated to ride, I love it though, it's just getting out of the door. I ought to, it does wonders for my mental state.
I had a soul, the perfect all rounder maybe? Could do anything on that bike reasonably well.
Now have a zesty and a scandal, one good trail bike, one good xc bike, but of a lack of middle ground. And both with crap brakes presently.
I'd really like a cotic flare but it's too much money to justify, and I know I'd still want another bike, I can't be without a hardtail. 2 ideally, one fast 29er xc machine, one modern, dropper'd up, fun, lively play bike.
Anyway, buy a new bike, a new type of bike, try a different type of riding, spice it up.
Hi core I ride a ragley piglet I've done about 4 thousand off road miles this year if I was going to change bike it probably would be a cotic soul . But I've lost my mojo this last couple of weeks just thinking is it time for a change of hobbie also I live in chorley Lancashire

Waterproofs, mudguards, and a rigid fatbike (or plus bike) will fix that.
Frottage
Or more serious answer, observational drawing.
How about studying grammar. It is an endlessly fascinating subject ๐
I used to hate winter MTB because of the incessant maintenance and dealing with worn brakes, rough drivetrains and corroded parts. Rigid singlespeed with cable disc breaks and mudguards - even more fun with fat rubber - spray down with WD40 after a ride, brush off the dried mud and relube before the next.
I'll just ignore the grammar comment
Get down the climbing wall, get strong, ready for next spring on the rock
Dogging! Still gets you in the outdoors with plenty of fresh air and exercise!
"Where you going dad?" "going dogging mate" "how long you out for ?" "probably be about 4 hrs maybe 5 hrs if i have a brew"" Ok be careful"
Don`t think so ๐
What's with the URL, reveals a bit more? ๐

try cycling on drugs, start with LSD! then move onto ecstasy, speed, cocaine and fianlly Heroin. see which one you enjoy the most and do it more. Also, listen to music when you ride.
As ^ climbing. You are fairly close to the grit, so get stuck in. Best to hook up with some seasoned folks to learn, but there's nothing to match a trad lead at your limit.

I'm endlessly amazed that it exists, but Wikipedia has a List of Hobbies.
Although it does not list all of Simon Quinlank, King of Hobbies' hobbies:
It's just the time of year, in my opinion. This year I've spent the best part of six months riding in sunnier climes and, now that I'm back in the grim north, dragging round through swampy, sloppy plantations and moorland isn't doing it for me, not like steep, technical, limestone trails did anyway.
I think the only bike that I'll ride through the winter is my rigid singlespeed, mostly because I really missed it when I didn't have it and also because there's very little to maintain.
I actually enjoy trail clearing/building more in the winter than riding, if I'm being honest.
I lost my mojo after 21 years as the world's most dedicated mountain biker; every holiday was mountain biking, every weekend and every Wednesday night come rain, shine, snow, whatever. But I got fed up with the mud and the wear and tear on my bike and kit. Luckily I found a carbon road bike dumped in a river and I'm now the world's most enthusiastic roadie. Hope it lasts a few years.
As you're in Chorley you'd be welcome to join me and my son and buddies for a road ride. You'd need to be about 6' so we can lend you a bike; probably a Roubaix SL4 or an older steel Pinarello.
My brother and I have watched many friends come and go with cycling.
We used to have a massive group and had a great laugh but life and work gets in the way and friends move on.
We both have remained true and live and breath it and have gained some new friends, and also old ones slowly found the light again.
If you're riding alone a lot, then I've found that can really sometimes put a struggle on the want to go out.
But if it's with friends, can change it completely and becomes a great social thing too. Even if some rides you only talk about bikes.
Do you ride with friends? May need some new ones?
Globalti thanks for the offer I've got a road bike but never use it as non of my mates are roadies so can I take you up on that offer in the new year. Also. How close are you from coppull

Try cx. I hated the idea and then a friend suggest I try. I tried and most giggled watching some of the riders crash whilst riding bikes so totally out of their depth. Ride and mtb or a cx bike, it really is great fun and got my mojo back.
