Will be going west over Easter holidays and plan to ride chilmachX/pump track and then Nant the next day and keeping CYB as the wet weather option.
Ideally like a 20ish mile ride with 1000m of climbing/descending.

Try that, I ride there often and this loop takes in pretty much all the good descents. Can provide you with a gpx if wanted.
kippers route is brilliant, but tough!
The 3 Mach trails are nice. Theres some good natural stuff between machynlleth and nant

We did the Cli-machx Harder route last weekend, the off piste descents were great!
