Well I think ive decided to get an OOF in the sale but im on the cusp size wise and Ive bought the wrong bike through not trying it out before so I'm on the back hoof a bit.
Is there anyone Aviemore/Inverness area with a med or large that I could swing my leg over to get a feel for size?

Or advice, im six foot two or three with a long leg I think.

You'd need a seat post 4 foot long to fit a medium.
I take a 30 inch leg jean and I'm right on the limit of a 400 mm seat post.

I'm 5' 11" and sold my medium for a large as I couldn't get by with a 410mm post.

Well that seems pretty conclusive, I'm just worried now is a large going to be big enough. So two more questions

Will a large be big enough?

I could probably stretch to a trail or similar price, I quite like the idea of the simple rigid fatbike but am I going to regret not getting suspension?

Thank you for your wisdom ๐Ÿ™‚

Dunno if these are a larger large?

I'd be tempted by this:

Ditto the comments about large. I'm 5'10 with a medium cant see that suiting someone 6 foot plus. In inverness if slinging your leg ovr a medium helps your thinking.

Thanks for the offer mate but I think even the large might be small.

I did look at the charge, and the caribou but I want at least the option of a bluto and they are I think straight steerer

I'm 6'2" and have a large, it's definitely not too small. Fits perfectly ๐Ÿ™‚

6ft2 on a large fatty. I've tried a trail & the lack of standover compared to the fatty put me off, much prefer the fatty even if it is heavier. I also hated how it steered with the bluto, felt so much more confident on my carbon forked fatty

Right I'm sorry to be a tart about this but i'm going to do it anyway.
Above is roughly how I like my bike, bars roughly level with the saddle. For some reason with a fatty id think bars a touch higher if anything but I definately dont want to have them lower than the saddle. I measured inside leg and its about 34in to the floor.

What do you think tall people?
