Have got a standard inbred 29er frame with karate monkey forks. Would it be possible to fit snow bike wheels in it? just for a giggle in the winter.

Any ideas?

no chance.not sure about the KM forks ,but unlikely bearing in mind that pug wheels are generally built on 135 mm hubs, but pretty sure you won't get a 3.7 endmorph in the rear, whatever rim you use.
get yerself over to mtbr, there's a mine of info over there if you search.
some folks use 3.0 dh tyres, but they're seriously heavy (like 4lbs eachish)

Have a look on MTBR Fat Bike forum.

All sorts of info on there about semi fat conversions.
