[#3978655]

I'm building up some "light" fat wheels for my Pug.

What's a lighter alternative to Surly. I'll need 135mm SS disc rear and a 135mm disc front, both offset..........

Hope do a front hub that'll fit a pug/salsa/ 10x135 fork.

Nice, but they don't do a rear SS hub that matches, do they?

They do a 135 trails/ss hub that'll fit and match.

The new hope evo come in 135mm front which has the right disc spacing for the pugsly fork. A standard hope SS rear hub should work in the back (if you dont want gears?). The front will be slightly light than a surly, the rear hope will almost certainly weigh more.

You dont get offset hubs, thats the rims.

The one I have is an Echo disk hub, which I can't see on the site any more. There are a few here though. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/135mm_fixed_hubs/c21.html

You need 2 rears, not a front and a rear, if you are still running the pug fork.

Pete, maybe not the lightest but pretty light are Hopes pro 2 rear on the back, and a Pro 2 trial/SS rear up front is a bombproof combo for an offset pug wheelset.
Waiting on a set of Marge Lites to arrive for another wheelbuild with those hubs...
All Hope spares are available and their beach/salt water tested for reliability, ๐Ÿ˜‰

Similar. Mine takes a screw on freewheel and doesn't have all those holes drilled in it.

Tarty bikes don't do the ones you have but suggested these as an alternative.

Hwe's building the wheels, so I'll run them by him....
