[#7849319]

My fatty is bog standard Rose Tusker with the ergon saddle fitted.
Last weekend I did a 35miler with around 3000ft of climbing and my butt went though hell...even now I have sore arse, and I had padded shorts on!!

So guys what saddle should I change it to?.......I'm thinking Charge spoon?....now I had one on my roadie bike and it was super comfy...and dirt cheap....but is it any good as a fat bike saddle?
Thanks

Err.....

It's a saddle. For a mountain bike. As long as you don't buy one of those 29er saddles I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'd try a 650B+ saddle myself.

Aren't all of the ones on the market so far enduro specific?

Good point.
Flouro yellow and orange may not match your colorway.
Maybe a 29+ saddle would be a better match.

And they only work with a dropper post.

I'd personally go for the vented model. Parp.

Yep, that's definitely a fat bike saddle.

Cor that wooden saddle looks the nutz!!...anything has got to be better than the ergon saddle which I think is the worst saddle ever

it's all about the interface, just because it doesn't work for you.

You could try this app

is your seat slightly too high? that will have the effect of (sawing you in half) and you might be blaming the seat for it

Depends if you're a 4" or 4.8" man

Has your fat bike got front suspension?
What tyre pressures are you running front and back?
All to be factored in when choosing a saddle....... 🙄

Personally I'd go for one of those:

or

One for fatbikeweightweenies:

And one that might protect against thieves:
