I had a great day riding in the snow today, when I really should have been at work. I got thinking, we don't have that many days with proper snow in the UK so I'm running a competition. From today until noon Wednesday (GMT) you can take any Fat Bike snow riding photo and submit it on Flickr [url= http://www.flickr.com/groups/2191274@N22/ ]here[/url], but please post here as well.
Prizes so far are:
-"What would Stamstad do?" aheadset caps from me
-a pair of Fatty tyres from On-One.
hopefully more to follow.

Will I lose points for having hideous mudguard/gaffatape/plastic sheeting things on mine?

I'm judging the photos. Beards, mud guards, and chimps in lycra may, or may not help you.

Yeah the fuel gauge on the MS is pretty bright

Nah I think the pictures/flash has amplified it.
Off out for a bit of a Fat Bike spin shortly but the light is rubbish for anything good photo wise. #ExcuseInEarly

Whilst playing in the snow today I somehow managed to rip my one pedal right out of the crank, stripped the crank thread right out 🙁 - really can't figure out how the hell that's even possible!
Let me know if anybody can recommend an alternative crank... guess I might as well go 2x10 now.... would be good if there was a prize in the form of a crank..even just a right side crank-arm would be good 🙂

You can get helicoils for cranks. Ream out, tap, wind insert in, job done. Saves needing new cranks
