I'm considering buying a Fargo for all sorts of reasons but wondering how many owners use theirs for, er, 'proper mountain biking'? The Salsa boys seem to show them being ridden on endless fire-road type tracks. Are they any good for more challenging terrain? Does the drop bar set-up put you in a good position to negotiate the occasional tricky downhill stuff?

I'd also be curious. Can't afford one right now, but think they look great. They seem to be really "marmite" in this regard though.
