In my dreams I would build someting like this;

But in probably in steel. The question is brakes, It'll have a flip flop hub so I will need the ability to fit a rear as well. I'd like to have the blade forks but possibly KCNC v brakes, but would there be enough meat on the forks to take the mounts? Or you lot being clever suggest other options. The bike will be BLACK..

Tektro make a dual-pivot road caliper brake with 61-78mm drop - should fit >2" tyres, if the big-tyre fixie idea is what you're going for. Then they'd be removable without leaving redundant posts on the frame.

I've wondered about using them for a project bike in the past, but not found time for it, but for a custom it could be cool..

codes 800A and 900A.

A nicer-finish option is the R559 and R369 - 55-73mm drop and they look as nice as their top end brakes, ie not quite 105 level but not bad either. (compared to 47-57mm for normal deep-drops that will take 32c tyres)

The tyres will be 26 X 2 1/2. But I'm going flipflop so ss or fixed, so I will need brakes. I'm after as little clutter as possible.

It's an Amaro........ http://urbanvelo.org/amaro-bikes-supermotard/

and even if they were actually producing frames I couldn't afford it, but I have a cunning plan (if I can sort the brake question out).
