If you had the opportunity to put cupboards & benching etc in a garage, for bike fettling, diy & possibly mid life crisis car storage, what would you use?
I've been looking at garage pride & dura cabinets but i can see no reason why they would be any better than a load of ikea kitchen units & a butchers block worktop.

For me, our old kitchen basically went into the garage when new kitchen went in. Worktop was replaced with a thick piece of marine-ply and fitted with tool boards above like this:

I'm sure it can be better but I did the same as Scud and used old kitchen units though depth reduced and strengthed with some studwork timber.

Bike shed just has the studwork timber and ply top.... as underneath are plastic boxes and made tool racks to go behind for now
