Hey guys, i own a santacruz nomad with the 1 x 11 sram setup, i found over the year ive had it, it has been known to ware alot more than shimano which i used to run on my orange alpine before i bought this, im thinking of converting back to shimano, would it be worth going to shimano over sram or sticking with sram? just want a few views, ive had 2 casettes now since ive had the bike using Sram gx 11 speed, its good smooth shifting but tends to ware faster IMO let me know !! recommendations!
are you comparing your sram 1x with shimano 2x or 3x? A 1x set up will always wear faster as you are more likely to run a suboptimal chanline and you only have 1 chainring so it's always being used. I always run 2 chains and rotate regularly and will continue to do so on the 1x set up where I think it's even more important.
