how about fair weather commuters who then spout out all their "knowledge" and "recommendations" about gear ratio's and how 23mm tyres are too wide for them...

I had a lovely time this evening as a fair weather fatty, I enjoyed breezing past a group of shiny Bianchi, and Specialized road bikes on my old cyclo cross commuter with a 19 stone fatty and full panniers on. At the moment I have a knackered left leg which I can only use at half power, so it was just a great moment for me..
