I've had these before, good forks and exactly what I'm after right now -- straight aluminium steerer, 15mm axle, and a decent 490mm length
However they are hardly cheap anymore -- over £200 for the ones I'm after
Is there anything else similar worth looking at?

ICAN maybe, no idea on price but mine have been spot on, carbon steerer if that makes any difference. They used to have an ebay outlet for slightly cosmetically challenged seconds if you are a bit of a gambler?
Yer their prices have gone up but there aren't any realistic alternatives that I would trust in the price bracket they sell for.
Anything carbon, esp front & cockpit end, where failure results in face plant; saving or quibbling over cost should be the least of considerations.
