Brake! Post mount or IS mount? Which is best to go for?

Post mount looks tidier IMO. But if you damage the threads it can mean a ruined fork.
In not sure if one performs better than the other?

Me neither. I've got one bike with post and one with IS! Can't work out one or the other!
