If you're thinking of having a ride on Exmoor in the next couple of weeks you may want to take a chainsaw with you, the trails are chocked with fallen trees ๐Ÿ™

I'm surprised the snow didn't stop you before you got to the trees!

where to ? We rode up there saturday and cut the ride short due to snow blocking the trail/roads.

Hi Knottie. East water valley(from cloutsham to horner) is blocked in at least half a dozen places. The NT estimate that it will take 3-4 weeks to clear all the fallen trees.

When I went out there on Sunday the climb upto Dunkery beacon from Minehead was unrideable about 1/2 way up due to several feet of slushy snow.

There were a lot of trees down but it wasn't to bad, and we dragged a few off them off the trails to clear them a bit.
