Hi All,
I need to replace some old under counter strip lights and have looked around to see there are 2 main choices:
1, Old type fluorescent tubes
2, Strip LED
I am swaying towards the LED option as they are so good for bike lights.
The main run I need to cover has a 90 degree bend and I am not sure if you can join the LED strips after cutting.
Does anyone have any experience / suggestions?
Also what wattage should I be looking at?
Many thanks
Al
I got some LED strips from Ikea, they come in around 1 foot lengths and you can join lots together, dead easy install, bright enough.
Thanks Colp
Will check them out.
Have a look for flexible led strip lights on eBay. 5m roll cut to size to suit units. You'll need a transformer as well. Make sure it's the waterproof version to protect against steam from kettle.
I fitted below and on top of wall units to throw light upwards.
The ones I bought had both right-angle sections of strip and short connecting wires so you could take your pick.
