Hi any experiences of fitting in a large framed 140mm travel 29er? Thanks

Depends on the vintage. Mine is an older one, possibly mkI. I can only just fit 26 x 2.4" wheels with tyres.

My 29er wheels go with tyres fully deflated, not tried my XL frame yet though!

Size large Tall LTC goes in one with room to spare.
2.5 Minions half deflated go in the wheel pockets too.

Current one, mate got an XL Cannondale Trigger into it. For a 29r the rubber makes a difference - no chance of getting big tyres in the wheel pockets.

I have one from 2012, I only have a medium 29er but the frame fits in with loads of room, so a L should be OK. I have 2.3 bonty tyres and I need to let most of the air out to get them into the wheel pouches which is the main issue.

A buddy of mine has a large (or xl, can't remember) Trek Fuel EX 29er, and his fits absolutely fine into an Evoc Bike bag. He had to deflate the tyres, but if you're flying with it you should be doing that anyway.

As i said 2.5 Minions fit in fine with enough air left in to hold them up tubeless.
