Last week I came across the #everesting challenge.
Yesterday I went for a ride.

Well done that man....
Did you loose the will to live or carry on at any point?
was getting bored of reading the rules then saw the strava reference.

Thanks.
Once I'd got over the initial niggles it was quite enjoyable. It's a pretty place to be.
I'd ride up there again tomorrow if my legs worked. ๐
Good work!
I don't think I could do that. Proper respect.

Thanks. You probably could though.
Read this, Mallory's grandson's account of how after many tries he "everested" on his bike, which was part of his training for the real thing
a friend started doing one the other day but the weather and wind meant he pulled out about half way. There's been talk about doing it too but we'll see.
Awesome, massive respect, I know I couldn't manage it!
How many reps was it?
How many reps was it?
It says 44 in the blog.
I'm going to excuse myself from this on the basis that I have no interest in climbing Everest for real, so replicating the ascent seems a bit hypocritical. Nice choice of climb though, enough variation to keep you awake and pretty views too. Nice one, if a little nuts, but then that, I guess, is mostly the point of it.
Top effort Rich.
