What a good idea ! I 've always wanted to do it.

Good idea, maybe electronic timing would stop some of the cheating going on in the main race, like this year when one of the top ten finishers made one of the climbs in a car!

I've always fancied trying the route doubt I'd bother getting the timing chip tho.

i had a place this year but over trained and so couldn't do it. 🙁 still want to do it next year, or try this though.

you could always just go and ride the route, it's well publicised. That's what i'll be doing sometime in August

would love to do it sometime,but am too unfit at present+would have to do it on my mountain bike,as i cannot afford a road bike!!!
