What's left this year? And what's early next? Could do with entering one to keep the training momentum going and give me a focus.
Relentless 24 hour, Endura Stramash, Strathpuffer, Kielder 100 mile.
Relentless is really good. Doesn't get bogged down like SITS and there's usually a bit of Mleh representation.
Relentless in October and the Puffer in January - they should see you right.
Merida Marathon in Ruthin 20th September
Don't know if this helps, but could try something like the Canary bike series

I don't know and am having trouble locating details on the internet for when/if they are happening next year.
Drumlagin castle in Dumfries Sep 20th
Dalbeattie Hard Rock Challenge first week in October, and in an hour or so I am going to post info about a STW 7 Stanes group ride you could come to : )
How about south of France:

Euro SS champs are in April next year!
Where are the Euro SS champs?
Rumour has it they're in the UK next year as Austria had to pull out.
Dusk til Dawn, Oct 3-4 at Thetford.
I would suggest the Isle of Man End to End in a couple of weeks except that's full.
National Cyclo Cross series starts soon.
Rumour has it they're in the UK next year as Austria had to pull out.
That sounds interesting.
I bet it'll be organised by a bunch of nichewhores though so i don't think I'll go to that one.....
These normally are eiasf, not sure we'd get in anyhow.
Yeah I hear they can be a bit selective on who gets to ride.
Is the Viking Challenge on this year?
Tour of the Peak at the end of October for the masochistic roadies amongst us....
(Luckily I now have the excuse that I've been injured and off the bike for the last two months so can't enter - sadly it means I also won't be doing the Tour etape next week eiher.)
Looks like the Strathpuffer is the only one I can do at the moment as work/ other commitments prevent me doing the others. So, January, way north of Scotland. I assume this is about as dire as an MTB can be? And would need plenty of brake pads, decent clothes etc?
Forest of Dean Enduro 27th September
