Anyone had much success getting Evans to price match?
My girlfriend and I are going to Evans in Castleford to try out [url= http://www.evanscycles.com/products/commencal/normal-2009-mountain-bike-ec017309?query=comencal%20normal ]a Commencal[/url] that is way [url= http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/?fn=product&productId=1718&categoryId=129 ]cheaper on Merlin[/url], but Ideally we'd like to take one from Castelford that day. Do you think they will price match it?
I'm thinking of printing off their [url= http://www.evanscycles.com/help/price-promise ]price promise[/url] in case we have any issues in store.
Any other haggling tips greatly welcome!
Interested in this too, I'm going to give it a shot today for a different item.
I'm not holding my breath though, I'm sure they'll find a reason not to match it.
Well I've double checked and it is the exact same size/colour in Merlin, so I can't see why they wouldn't. Let us know how you get on?
Well a week went by since I phoned Evans and still no reply - I ended up buying the item from the cheaper place. Sorted.
Their mail order is great.
Ask to speak to Manager-or find out when they are in.
